A new year is about to come and during 2015 new inventions may break the market. In cell phone industry they’ll not be waited too much as according some rumors but also information a new kind of message will be available for customers from different corners of the World. We are talking now about the ‘smell-o-grams’ or as it is known as smell text. Of course, this new type of messages can be sent by smartphones and represent quite an enthusiastic breakthrough.
This way you can do things you won’t be able in a moment when you want to. Or at least things that can substitute a bit your intentions… You’re far away from you loved one but you are dying to send her a flowers bucket. No problem, until you meet and get a real occasion you can postpone this with a sweet flavored message, right? Or maybe you want to send a selfie to your boyfriend when you are in Europe. I suppose it will be better if you’ll add to it your perfume which he likes the most!
The inventions is possible
For some of us, this initiative sounds a bit strange or at least new, but it is perfect possible if we consider that Earlier in 2014, researchers at Harvard deployed an iPhone app to communicate the smell of macaroons and champagne from Paris to New York. Also, sending smells along with pictures over a smartphone is already possible thanks to Adrian Cheok who invented Scentee, which can be plugged into the headphone socket of a smartphone. Scentee uses aroma cartridges that are alcohol-based to diffuse wisps of vapor once it has been triggered into action.
