As we accustomed you, we are trying to give details about World’s most popular smartphones. This time, we’re going to talk a bit about HTC One (M8) a device made for Windows and which has a standard going rate of 199.99 dollars with contract at Verizon. It resembles a lot with Nokia Lumia Icon, the gadget associated with AT&T, but this is important only as a comparison because we’re going to talk more about its characteristics.
Characteristics
HTC One (M8) supports a 3G UMTS in four different frequencies (850, 900, 1900 or 2100 MHz), has a band in GSM, GPRS or EDGE also for four frequencies (850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz), HSPA+ and 4G LTE network access for five bands (2, 4, 5, 7 and 17). The capacity of battery lasting of this device was tested by using a YouTube video over LTE with screen brightness set to maximum, the One (M8) and it lasted 3 hours, 49 minutes.
This means that the life of HTC’s battery is shorter than the iPhone 6's, considering that the Apple device can last, in the same conditions, for 4 hours and 33 minute. Not to mention that other rivals, from Galaxy S5 can go up to 7 hours in the same kind of test. To conclude with HTC One’s characteristics let say that from the total of 32 GB storage which the smartphone has, most of it, around 26 GB it may be used by customers out of the box. So, you decide if this is a good cell phone according to your taste!
