It’s the turn of Samsung Galaxy Mega 2! A smartphone at which we’ll insist in presenting its features and less about talking and giving opinions… His quite solid, although has a smaller screen and it is easier to handle thanks to its 6.44 – 3.334 – 0.34 inches measures and around 170 grams. His back has a 2,800mAh removable battery and microSD card slot.
After the original LCD 6.3 inches, Samsung decided that this model should only have 6 inches AMOLED panel and remained with the same resolution of 1,280-by-720-pixel resolution. Colors still pop with typical Samsung-level saturation, but the screen isn't particularly bright and struggles in direct sunlight. If you want to get a Mega 2 with AT&T you should read a bit about its possible connections. So, it connects to 3G GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and 4G LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 17, and 29) networks.
Battery life comparable to iPhone 6 Plus
The life duration of its battery can be disappointing at some point, if we take in consideration that it lasts maximum 4 hours and 49 minutes while a YouTube video over LTE with screen brightness set to max, the Mega 2 is opened. Still, this doesn’t look like quite a tragedy if we remember also the battery of iPhone 6 Plus’s life expectancy of 4 hours and 46 minutes. Don’t forget though that battery life isn’t the strongest point of Apple designed devices.
8 megapixel camera
When it comes to Samsung Galaxy Mega 2’s video camera let’s just say that the 8 megapixel option can make pretty good pictures but which can’t be compared to those made by phones with the device that can support 13 megapixels. So, for a better result, try to take three or four photos in a sequence.
