Often we are willing to find some way that in the moment when we want to access an information from the web, on our smartphones, to use less the browsers. Or even not at all! Somehow we want everything to happen faster and in less time. For this, Aviate, the application powered by Windows can represent a good solution. At this moment, the service is available only for English speakers from the United States and also only for those who have the Android operating system. But already it was downloaded by a couple of million users.

Yahoo, more accessible thanks to Aviate

The application was the idea of Yahoo representatives when they realized not only that Yahoo isn’t the default browser for smartphones which use Android, but also it can be quite difficult for customers to change this. Yahoo is less popular than Mozilla or Chrome for instance so it’s hard to believe that people will make some complicate setting changes only to set Yahoo as a default browser. Now, thanks to Aviate, Yahoo is far more accessible to every user and, this way, it also makes a easier mission for users.

It resembles to Spotlight

Customers are enthusiastic because through Aviate they can find out very fast information about traffic conditions, calendar appointments or applications with the favorite music of everyone. Despite their idea, Aviate isn’t the first application that has this property and not even the most efficient one from this sector. Because Android users experienced before, a year ago to be more specific, the ability to search through their applications powered by Google. And for now, Yahoo has to recover a bit to catch up with the other giant from the market, but I don’t suppose there will be too many problems. In fact, Aviate resembles more to Spotlight powered by Apple which only directs you to applications that match a certain search query.
