In the United States, Santa comes every year. And if you were good during it, you might get a smartphone! Americans do like very much iPhone, especially after the launch of the 6 version and the 6 Plus, so it’s normal for them to expect and to get under their Christmas tree such a device. Or at least an older one… This is what a post-Christmas study made in the U.S. is showing us: that Apple products stuffed Santa’s bag.

Apple devices, more than half of Christmas gifts

Many people got for Christmas a smartphone in the United States of America and from the total number of the devices, more than half were made by Apple! In fact, the statistic made by Flurry show a record percent of 51.3 when it comes of Apple devices which Santa brought in his bag. The number is impressive, considering that Samsung which is, of course, on the second spot, grab only 17.7 percent! The list is completed by the Microsoft Nokia Lumia type of smartphones with 5.8 percent, Sony, thanks to its Xperia series with 1.6 percent and, on the fifth spot, LG with 1.4 percent.

Nine iPhones for a Nokia

In fact, to make more clear how things worked for iPhone in the U.S. in this period of the year, let us just say that for one Samsung device activated, Apple got almost three activated, meanwhile almost nine for every Nokia smartphone. The comparison with the others is useless, we might say. To sum up, we must add that this attitude might quite explainable also because of the fact that Apple is the only smartphone producer from this list that it is established on the territory of the United States of America, so people can also get at some points a bit nationalists.
