At the CES event which will take place in Las Vegas during this month, several new devices are scheduled to appear on the American market. Among these is also the LG G Flex 2, the successor of the first ever curved device. Rumors about this appeared four months ago, from September and they looked inevitable as the first version of the smartphone was already launched in 2013 in some markets from the Asian continent and after a few months, at the beginning of 2014 also in the United States. So, it was well received there and so the South Korean producer thought it will be a nice idea to also give it a shot on the oversea market for the new version.
Improved but at the same price?
The LG G Flex 2 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 process in 64 bits and seems like it will feature a LTE-A compatibility along with a tri-band carrier aggregation, characteristics which gives the device quite some qualities. It seems like this model will be smaller when it comes about its touchscreen than LG G Flex was, because that version had a 6 inch display while this one is expected to be given a 5 or 5.5 inch touchscreen. Also, the resolution is speculated to have 1080p in full HD, which seems quite good comparing to the existing 720p. No rumors circulated about its price, but there are no clues that it will be more expensive than the first device which could have been bought at the beginning for 940 dollars.

About this situation, LG’s spokesman gave a statement: "Measuring six inches diagonally, the Plastic OLED display is the world's largest developed and manufactured specifically for a smartphone. The G Flex utilizes the world's first curved battery and is the first phone to feature a self-healing coating on the back cover, making it immune to minor scratches and nicks. The unique device also features user-centrix UX features such as QTheatre, Dual Window and Swing Lockscreen designed specifically for the curved screen".
