Apple is in danger! Well, let’s not make a drama from this article, but the American smartphone producer has some important concerns to take in consideration after the last results when it comes to customer support. After losing in 2011 its leader status on the market of smartphones in the favor of Samsung which came strongly from behind, now they have another problem.
70,000 people involved
The competitor is, again, Samsung, of course. For the first time, customer service isn’t anymore the strongest point of Apple, the company from South Korea getting also here the lead when it comes to smartphone users preferences. This was revealed by a statistic made over 70,000 consumers from all around United States of America between September 2013 and March 2014 by the American Consumer Satisfaction Index. So, Apple lost field again and this doesn’t seem good at all for the American company.
Nokia and Motorola on the next positions
To add up, let’s just say how things work on this market right now comparing to what happened a year ago when it comes about customer satisfaction. The report shows Samsung garnering a total score of 81, which is not a considerable lead against Apple's own 79, but still is a great success for the beginning of this year. Trailing behind Samsung and Apple are the Finnish technology company Nokia and Motorola Mobility, which was owned by Google at the time of the survey. Both companies were given a score of 77. BlackBerry also posed serious improvement from its previous years. The Canadian smartphone maker was given an average score of 69 in 2012 and 2013, but shows now 74 for the ACSI's latest survey, which should give the ailing company a leg up in its quest to retain some semblance of its old glory days.
