For Nokia users and fans from all around the World some quite good news came from Microsoft. The buyer of the company started using lesser and lesser the Finish name when it comes to branding their cell phones, but now a new device will be named Nokia 215. All right, let us just say that this isn’t a smartphone but a perfect device for those who get for the first time a cell phone. Of course, it has a price comparing to its profile, of only 29 dollars unlocked.
It is destined for Middle East and Africa
The Nokia 215 is destined especially for the market outside the United States, starting with the Middle East, Africa and ending with other parts of Asia and even Europe. As we said, this device’s purpose is to help the entry level cell phone users to familiarize themselves. A quite simple question comes up when it comes about this policy of Microsoft in a period in which the number of smartphone buyers increases rapidly and the demand for ordinary cell phones, or the now known dumbphones, is very low: why don’t they just cut down prices from their smartphones?
It has Facebook messenger
Well, Microsoft already does that and will continue with this, but sometimes it looks better to have an alternative especially when it comes to people for who a smartphone is not so important, but want one simpler and even smaller. Or we might just speak about Nokia fans which want a spare phone! Of course, Microsoft adopted the idea of keeping the original name to this phone also because not being a smartphone means also that it can’t use a Windows OS. Still, the phone mobile has some features that make quite a transition from a dumbphone and a smartphone. For example, you have the Facebook messenger on it, an application which is one of the most important for smartphone users for sure!
