AT&T continues to present its ideas that go beyond the cell phone industry. This time, it’s about the tablets. The Dallas based company launched at CES 2015 the Modio Case, a tool designed to permit iPad Mini and iPad Air users provide with 4G LTE signal. All right, so for now nobody can tell how many will choose this option because this type of services are for sure more expensive than the now classic Wi-Fi.

For now, AT&T representatives didn’t reveal the price that the service will have, but it is clear that the tool will be available in two versions: a black one for all iPad Minis that will launch first and another version that can accommodate both iPad Airs. The iPad Mini case is 6.25 inches wide, 8.47 inches long and .69 inches thick. The iPad Air case is 7.85 inches wide, 10.04 inches long and .69 inches thick. Plus, the case will contain a microSD slot which can supply its memory to up 32 more GB and it has a 4,600 mAh battery which can function continuous for 10 hours. It will work with the Modio Data application which will allow every user to monitor and manage their data usage.
