Some news is coming from the United Kingdom! Some time ago, TPO (The People’s Operator) started raising money to get the possibility of launching their services also in the United States of America. It figures out they succeed with their campaign and so rumors state that the company will start functioning in U.S. with this spring. More likely, it will be a Sprint’s MVNO but until now no details about its potential plans for customers are known.

They allow 35 percent for donations

The company was founded in 2012, by Wikipedia’s father, Jimmy Wales, and provides service from customers from some regions of the U.K. That’s all for now, but we should add that they have quite an interesting policy. I don’t know if they will apply it in the United State as well, but they have low plans when it comes to prices and 10 percent of the bill is donated to a charity of their choosing. Also, a quarter of the bill goes to the TPO foundations so this looks like a quite atypical company. In fact, if they’ll adopt the same policy in the United States it will be only the third to allow donations after GIV Mobile and Credo Mobile.
