Google is a very extended company in the cell phone industry as its Android operating system powers up almost 85 percent of the total smartphones from around the world. Also, Google has already launched their very own smartphones, from which Nexus models are among the most famous. But Google doesn’t think this is enough and because of this the company is strongly considering to launch its own MVNO on the market from the United States of America.

Rumors started on April 2014

Talks about this fact lasted from April 2014 but it seems that now they will take place finally. Or at least in the following weeks or months! Information state that Google already talked to Sprint and T-Mobile for launching an MVNO which will use their network. The code name of this projected looks to be “Nova” and more information are yet to come, because until now this is about everything we know so far.

It is said that they will use the Google Fiber service

Most likely, to start with this service, Google will use first of all the cities that already benefit from Google’s Fiber service, maybe even supplementing wifi calling for the poor networks of T-Mobile and Sprint. Other thing are unknown by now and we aren’t really sure if this project will have success or not on the cell phone market, considering that it is full at this moment, but who knows? I mean, Google is a brand and we are sure that they want and might take advantage of this when they will effectively introduce prepaid services for cell phone users from all around the United States of America.
