China is one of the biggest markets for Apple in the World, but it looks like the Chinese authorities demanded the right to check in detail the devices made by the American company so this way they can approve without any concern the products for their customers. They got this permission and things look OK at this moment. All started last summer when a Chinese television brought heavy accuses for Apple.

At that moment, reports stated that Apple was tracking then people’s locations in China through the "frequent locations" feature on the phone and, this way, "those with access to that data could gain knowledge of China's economic situation or 'even state secrets.” This is what happened there so Chinese wanted to be more focused on things and make sure, probably, that the situation won’t met any danger. Of course, from the moment when those rumors appeared, Apple heavily denied them.
All through official statements which were delivered to publicity back in July 2014: "Apple has never worked with any government agency from any country to create a backdoor in any of our products or services. We have also never allowed access to our servers. And we never will. It’s something we feel very strongly about."
