WhatsApp became one of the applications which figures as a must need on everybody’s smartphone. Some months ago it was bought by Facebook fact that seem like grew its popularity and its force on market. Now, WhatsApp representatives do whatever they can to aggressive fight against third party applications which often its users access for different reasons, one of them being WhatsApp Plus.
24 hour ban
WhatsApp claims that associating their services with such applications they can’t ensure customers safety in the standards that they want so they even ban for 24 hours users which actually use third party applications linked with WhatsApp. Of course, the measure annoyed some customers and some where even furious, but the board of the company explained in a statement why they fight so much against this type of applications.
Official statement
"Due to the circumstances that arose, and the fact that WhatsApp Inc issued a cease and desist letter to WhatsApp+, the official WhatsApp+ community is shutting down for good and will be removed by the end of the day. WhatsApp Plus is an application that was not developed by WhatsApp, nor is it authorized by WhatsApp. The developers of WhatsApp Plus have no relationship to WhatsApp, and we do not support WhatsApp Plus. Please be aware that WhatsApp Plus contains source code which WhatsApp cannot guarantee as safe and that your private information is potentially being passed to third parties without your knowledge or authorization."
