The Apple Watch is expected to be launched in April this year, so not much time left if you can hardly wait to get one of those. The device is a real gold mine, or at least it looks so, for those who want to track down their health. This is why, the Apple Watch has a way in monitoring the glucose level from your blood, a thing which is very useful for those who suffer from diabetes. OK, so the Apple gadget needs some help there, because it doesn’t measures by itself that thing, but still this looks like a pretty good job.
29 million are suffering from diabetes in the United States
DexCom invented the CGM, a tiny sensor which is embedded under your skin, helping this way measuring the glucose from your blood, meanwhile the Apple Watch will display the information captured by that sensor. The thing can help even doctors to monitor far easier and efficient patients which suffer from different types of diabetes. And they aren’t few in the United States in this poor situation, considering that studies show around 29 million people in this situation.
