Facebook becomes more and more a serious thing all over the World. I mean, few of us can say that they are don’t using this socialization site at least once in a while. Not to mention that hardly aren’t people which can say that they didn’t enter on Facebook at least once in their lost. Of course, it sounds odd, but it certainly that Facebook becomes slowly, but sure, a matter of life and death! At least this is what the Facebook product manager, Vanessa Callison-Burch thinks. In other words, the company wants to make possible a legal way with which someone can control another account if that person passes away.
Kind of creepy, huh?! It is a bit and many people laugh of this possibility or even they don’t like how it sounds, but the fact is that few realize its meaning before they suffer a loss. So, if somebody has the unpleasant such situation to face, there might be a legacy contact which will be able to pin posts to the top of the page and also responding to incoming friend requests, control the profile and the header image. For now, this type of service is available only in the United States, but it seems like being incorporated soon in different other countries, but the dates aren’t mentioned until now.
About this fact, Vanessa Callison-Burch even said a few words to make it clear what this is all about: "Family members will tell us 'I really want to communicate information about the memorial service with this person’s friends.' The idea of a pinned post comes from there. People typically don't think about this very much until they have an experience of loss."
