The four big networks which everybody is using in the US for cell phone services don’t stay very good in peoples preferences because the services offered by Verizon, AT & T, T-Mobile and Sprint don’t reflect the prices that customers pay. At least comparing them to those had by other companies, smaller ones which in the rankings had significant grew recently. For example, some Consumer Reports, based on a survey made on around 63,000 of the subscribers, Ting, an operator that has only three years on the market scored far better than the Big Four. This is because, apparently, they bill for voice, text and data services rather than charging a flat rate which may be uncomfortably some time for their users.
Ting grows higher and higher
From those all four big carriers only
one looks like to have some advantages comparing to Ting, as the smaller
operator uses their network, Sprint network that is. So, Ting is
compatible only for cell phones and tablets from Sprint. At this moment,
some of the gadgets that enter this category are iPhone 5 and Samsung
Galaxy S3. Still, Ting is not the only small provider that tops in the
preferences of cell phone services customers. High ranked here are also
Consumer Cellular and Republic Wireless, this last one being quite
popular for the prepaid services that it delivers. In fact, these three
are the only providers from the Customer Reports’ that received the
highest quality marks for the average between value and money.
AT&T, Sprint and Verizon are defending
Unfortunately
for them, as I said before, the big four have some problems according
to that reports and the customers think that their rankings for value
among contracts are quite low, situation in which are AT&T, Sprint
and Verizon. Sprint also did worse in Consumer Reports' survey for phone
support, and the lack of knowledge and ability to resolve issues,
comparing to the other big and smaller providers. In response to
Consumer Reports' survey, Sprint said the results are disappointing and
it is committed to offering customers the best value in wireless.
Verizon said it will continue to work to demonstrate value by providing
excellent customer experiences. And AT&T said customer satisfaction
is the reason fewer people are switching away from AT&T.
