AT&T extends their services for customers on the whole territory of the US. After they launched in the first half of 2014 the Voice Over LTE, more precise in May, AT&T expands it across different areas that had no coverage until now. Also known as VoLTE, the service can be used by two users in a direct conversation onl if they have telephones capable of HD Voice calls. So, now, as AT&T announced the service can be used in 18 new areas from all around US.

VoLTE for 18 regions
The regions in which VoLTE will be available from now on are: District of Colombia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin. Now, people from those areas can benefit with any restrictions of this service. And perhaps we should talk a little more of the AT&T offer.

4G coverage
And it’s not quite difficult though to explain its mechanism. VoLTE is the next generation of voice calling because it provides a very clear sound. Why is that? Well, because it sends all the voice data over a 4G network not over the older 3G or even 2G networks which supported until know the majority of voice calling. Still, being so new, VoLTE is quite limited and few cell phone users had the privilege to test it yet and even fewer talk daily using this service, but the perspectives of continuous expansion remains very likely as AT&T representatives want more coverage for the future.
