Now we will continue to talk a bit about the rivalry between Google and Apple mainly. IPhones were and still are very searched and wanted by people from all around the World and definitely from the United States, but the trends seem to change as in time Android systems and Samsung smartphones came strong from behind. So, according to different types of statistics, the interest for Apple products decreased this year comparing to the precedent ones. Why I am saying that? Well, it is quite simple to figure this out if we consider Google’s annual release.

Every year, the giant of web browsing publishes a list with the top ten articles that were searched on the Internet by Google users mostly in the last 12 months. Starting 2010, every year had in this top at least one Apple product. In 2010, was the iPad, one year later were two products, iPhone 5 and iPad 3, which represents quite a good record for Apple. A record was also registered in 2013, when iPhone 5S was on the second spot in all web users preference, while in 2012 iPad 3 was again in top ten.

Now, as other products also raised their standards and fulfilled more and more the expectations of cell phone users, it looks like Apple met some kind of regress and reached quite a lack of interest, despite iPhone 6 being quite popular among Apple fans. To support this idea, let us take a look on the Google’s most collectively searched items in 2014:

US Trending Searches:

    Robin Williams
    World Cup
    Ebola
    Malaysia Airlines
    Flappy Bird
    ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
    ISIS
    Ferguson
    Frozen
    Ukraine

To end up this article and this discussion we shall say that Flappy Bird became the first ever cell phone based application that managed to enter in the top 10 Google search in a year.
